• Product Name: rubber gasket piston stopper for disposable syringe
• Material: latex rubber(natural rubber), latex free rubber(isoprene rubber), silicone rubber, butyl rubber, TPE material, PVC material.
• Manufacturing Method: rubber material type gaskets are compression moulded products by vulcanization machine. By compression moulded process, rubber gasket will be better at aging performance which means it won’t cause leakage with time goes by.
• Manufacturing Method: non-rubber material type gaskets like TPE gaskets and PVC gaskets are injection moulded products by injection machine. In this way gaskets will be lower in cost but it may cause leakage easily with time goes by.
• Size: different sizes designed for insulin, 1ml, 2ml, 3ml, 5ml, 10ml, 20ml, 50ml and 100ml disposable syirnge.
• Use: as rubber plunger head fitting barrel perfectly, to inject all liquid to body.

Material for syringe plunger stopper

• latex rubber——lower cost, but contains latex which may cause allergy
• isoprene rubber——no latex, no allergy
• silicone rubber——no latex, better performance to replace isoprene rubber
• butyl rubber——used for prefilled syringe to ensure no chemical reaction with medication
• TPE & PVC——injection mouled products, easy and convenient, but not good in sealing performance, this type of material will probablay cause leakage

Syringe Gasket Piston Size Importance

Inside Part 1:

• If too small, plunger will squeeze gasket and make it expand, sealing part will be expanded, cause difficulty in moving plunger.
• If too big, plunger will shake even after it’s assembled with barrel.

Inside Part 2:

• If too small, it will be difficult to assemble gasket with plunger.
• If too big, gasket will be easy to fall off from plunger head, then whole syringe is no use.

Sealing Part:

• If too big, it will be difficult to push or pull plunger inside barrel.
• If too small, it will be easy to cause air or liquid leakage.
